Job summary

SPERTON India - Where Great People Meet seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Stavanger-based team and drive development of electrical solutions alongside digital and remote-control technologies.

You will participate across the full project lifecycle, from studies to testing and commissioning, with occasional travel. The role emphasizes leadership, offshore installation knowledge, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering, Energy and Environment, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience working with electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, offshore environments preferred.
• Experience with energy systems, ideally oil & gas; other industries considered.
• Knowledge of regulations, standards and digital/remote-control technologies.
• Good IT skills and ability to work with engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in electrical engineering activities across all project phases.
• Assist with studies, tender preparation, project execution and testing.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting during operations.
• Develop and improve electrical systems, processes and tools.
• Contribute to integration of electrical systems with remote control and digital tech.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical input.
• Take technical leadership responsibility where appropriate.
• Travel occasionally to meet project requirements.
