Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and verify electrical installations for offshore, onshore, and international projects. The role emphasizes heat trace design aligned with P&IDs, MTO preparation, requisitions, and vendor follow-up, interfacing with multiple disciplines.

You will work independently and in teams, requiring a proactive, systematic approach, strong English communication, and knowledge of offshore standards such as NORSOK, IEC 61850, and IEC

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant area.
• Experience and knowledge of electrical design according to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL and IEC.
• Experience from electrical engineering in modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Responsibilities

• Perform and verify design of electrical installations.
• Define and design heat trace requirement in accordance with P&IDs.
• Prepare, check and approve MTO.
• Prepare check and approve technical requisitions.
• Follow up vendors.
• Insert data into engineering registry.
• Interface with other disciplines.
