Storebrand is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to join the Center of Excellence for Data & AI. You will design scalable data pipelines, enable self-service data products, and ensure security and compliance across a multi-cloud data platform.

The role is based at Lysaker with strong collaboration across Storebrand teams. The ideal candidate has a technical degree and hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure, Kubernetes, Databricks, and IaC, plus Python/SQL and AI tools like Claude Code or

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree with a strong data/AI focus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with hands-on AI tooling.
• Experience with data platforms, cloud services and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Build frameworks for data ingestion, orchestration, data apps and infrastructure on top of the data platform.
• Experiment with and improve AI and AI-agents on our platform to scale data teams.
• Develop and maintain a robust, secure and compliant data platform.
