Job summary

Storebrand is seeking a senior data platform engineer to join the central Data & AI Center of Excellence. You will design and scale a modern, cloud-enabled data and analytics platform used by 100+ developers across the group, focusing on self-service, security and compliance.

In this role you will build frameworks for data ingestion, orchestration and data products, enable AI tooling, and ensure robust observability.

Qualifications

• You likely hold a technical degree and have a strong data/AI platform mindset.
• Proven experience in building scalable data platforms and data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with hands-on AI tooling familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and create frameworks for data ingestion, orchestration, data apps and infrastructure.
• Build self-service data products while upholding security and compliance.
• Enhance developer experience across best-of-breed tools for scaling the platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers across Storebrand to meet user needs and onboarding challenges.
