Job summary

Storebrand is seeking a senior data platform engineer to join the Center of Excellence for Data & AI. You will help design and build a scalable data platform across Azure and Google Cloud, leveraging Snowflake, Dagster+, dbt Cloud, and Databricks to enable self-service data products for 100+ developers.

You will own frameworks, infrastructure, and data pipelines while ensuring security, compliance, and high-quality developer experience across Storebrand’s data teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and SQL required.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and system integrations is a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake, Azure, Kubernetes, Databricks, GitHub, Terraform, dbt, and Dagster is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable data platform to enable self-service data products.
• Lead development of data pipelines and data apps for 100+ developers across Storebrand.
• Create frameworks, infrastructure, and integrations to scale the data platform.
• Improve security, compliance, observability, and monitoring of data products.
• Collaborate with data engineers to onboard users and deliver analytics capabilities.
