Xeneta is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to redesign and own our data stack end-to-end. You will shape data architecture, pipelines, governance, and the underlying stack to accelerate AI-enabled insights for ocean and air freight decisions. You will ensure data is trusted, discoverable and usable by humans and AI agents alike.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience designing scalable data architectures.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and AWS.
• Familiarity with AI tools and data pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.

Responsabilités

• Own data pipelines feeding the Xeneta platform and decide what to rebuild or retire.
• Redesign data models in Snowflake and dbt for fast, reliable shipped models.
• Make data usable by AI agents with clean semantics and documented lineage.
• Educate tech, data teams and wider organisation on data usage with AI tools.
• Set governance rules for data definitions, ownership and access and bake them into the stack.
• Automate provisioning, onboarding of new data sources, data quality checks and lineage maintenance.
