Job summary

NECTO Search & Selection is expanding in Norway and seeks a Senior Cost Manager / Associate to lead commercial delivery on a major data centre project in Kristiansand, while helping build our Nordics capabilities. Based primarily in Oslo with regular site visits to Norway and Finland, the role is hybrid and involves collaborating with cost managers across Norway, Finland, Dublin and London.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, budgeting and benchmarking for hyperscale and colocation data centre projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates, elemental cost plans and feasibility studies.
• Support procurement strategy, tendering, bid evaluation and contractor negotiation.
• Provide commercial input into design development and value engineering.
• Manage all post‑contract cost control and reporting for assigned projects.
• Administer contracts, manage change control, assess variations and claims.
• Lead monthly cost reporting, cash flow forecasts and financial risk management.
• Review and agree interim valuations and final accounts.
• Act as a senior commercial point of contact for the client and project team in Norway.
• Build strong relationships with client representatives, GC/main contractors and supply chain.
• Represent the business professionally in client meetings.
