Job summary
Aker Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Oslo or Stavanger offices. You will develop, test and deploy AI and data-driven solutions that create measurable value for energy projects, collaborating with domain experts and software engineers to turn complex ideas into scalable tools.
The role requires strong ML skills, experience with LLMs and VLMs, Python and production-grade frameworks, and familiarity with Azure AI tools.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
- Experience with LLMs and VLMs, Python and production-grade frameworks.
- Hands-on ML frameworks and experiment tracking tools.
- Cloud AI platforms and MLOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring and model lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Experiment, develop and maintain AI solutions and provide user support.
- Translate challenges into scalable technical solutions with domain experts.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.
- Improve, monitor and maintain AI solutions for reliability and performance.
