Job summary

Aker Solutions is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join our Oslo or Stavanger offices. You will design and deliver AI-powered applications, agents and copilots that solve real business challenges across engineering and operations.

You will collaborate with developers, data engineers and business stakeholders to create scalable AI solutions, balancing pro-code and low-code approaches while maintaining safety and reliability in production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, IT or related field.
• Hands-on exposure to AI technologies including GenAI, agents, copilots.
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integration and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI-powered applications, agents and copilots that solve real business challenges across engineering and operations.
• Build and orchestrate agent workflows, integrating APIs, enterprise systems and data sources.
• Identify technology approaches for each use case across pro-code and low-code platforms.
• Design prompts, retrieval strategies and context for high-quality AI outputs.
• Evaluate AI solutions with testing, guardrails and monitoring for production safety.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to take solutions from idea to deployment.
