VARD Electro is shaping the future of shipbuilding with SeaQ Control systems and advanced automation solutions for vessels worldwide.

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join our expanding Service Department and to work hands-on with commissioning, service, and support in a dynamic international environment. Travel and independent problem-solving are essential, with strong customer focus and Norwegian/English communication.

Qualifications

Technical background/education within Automation (Technician Level/ Bachelor/ Master).
Experience from commissioning, service, troubleshooting or maintenance of automation and control systems.
Strong competence in PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networks and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Commissioning and service of SeaQ Control systems delivered to customers worldwide.
Troubleshooting and maintenance activities, providing technical assistance to customers and colleagues.
Participation in factory testing, reporting and in-house support activities.
Role involves extensive travel and requires a customer-focused mindset.
