Job summary

KONGSBERG Discovery in Horten is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service our underwater acoustic systems on vessels and in shipyards around the world. You will also provide on-site and remote technical support and travel frequently.

The role requires a B.Sc/B.Eng in electronics/instrumentation/computer science, strong English and Norwegian communication, and enthusiasm for worldwide support activities. Travel approx. 120 days per year is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineer (B.Sc/B.Eng) in electronics/instrumentation/computer science or higher professional degree.
• Good communication skills in English and Norwegian. Both oral and written
• Highly motivated for worldwide support activities
• Experienced and non-experienced engineers are encouraged to apply
