Aker Solutions is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join our Oslo or Stavanger teams. Design and deliver AI-powered applications, agents and copilots that solve real engineering, operations, and corporate challenges.

You will orchestrate workflows, integrate APIs and enterprise systems, and balance pro-code and low-code approaches to scale solutions. Fluent English required; Norwegian is a plus. Flexible remote work up to two days per week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• Experience with AI, GenAI, agentic workflows, copilots, and RAG
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integration, and application architecture
• Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian is an advantage

Responsabilités

• Design and deliver AI-powered applications, agents and copilots that solve real business challenges across engineering, operations and corporate functions
• Build and orchestrate agent workflows, integrating APIs, enterprise systems, tools and data sources to create scalable and reliable solutions
• Identify and apply the right technology approach for each use case, working across pro-code and low-code AI platforms
• Design prompts, instructions, retrieval strategies and context mechanisms for higher quality AI outputs
• Evaluate and improve AI solutions through testing, guardrails, monitoring and validation for production use
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams with developers, data engineers, SMEs and stakeholders from idea to deployment
