SME Careers is seeking a Norwegian Language Specialist to review AI-generated Norwegian content and create high-quality Norwegian reference content. You will evaluate language quality, provide precise written feedback, and write high-quality rewrites and model answers to demonstrate best practices in Norwegian writing.

The role is hourly, remote, and part-time, with opportunities for future projects through our expert network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Norwegian/English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Native or near-native Norwegian proficiency (reading and writing required).
• Strong professional proficiency in English (C1) to follow guidelines and provide detailed feedback in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: create prompts and gold-standard Norwegian answers across domains.
• Optimize AI Performance: evaluate and rank outputs for fluency, tone, and cultural appropriateness.
• Ensure Model Integrity: detect unsafe or misleading content, factual hallucinations, bias, and policy-risk language.
