SME Careers is seeking a Norwegian Language Specialist to review AI-generated Norwegian content and create high-quality reference material. You will evaluate accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural appropriateness while providing precise written feedback in English.

The role is remote, hourly, with flexible scheduling. You will develop prompts and model answers across domains, helping to improve the world's premier AI models through expert language guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Native or near-native Norwegian with reading/writing.
• Strong English (C1) to provide detailed feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, QA, journalism or related language work.
• Deep understanding of Norwegian grammar, spelling, punctuation and style.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: prompts and gold-standard Norwegian answers across domains.
• Evaluate and rank AI outputs to improve fluency, tone, and cultural fit.
• Detect unsafe or misleading content, factual inaccuracies, bias, and policy-risk language; validate reliability across use cases.
