Marks Sattin is searching for a Recently Qualified Fund Controller to oversee financial controls for Luxembourg-domiciled real estate funds. The role offers exposure to investment structures, auditors, and tax advisers, with an initial 12-month contract and potential for extension.

The candidate should have 1-3 years post-qualification experience from a Big Four, with strong accounting fundamentals and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years post qualified (ACA) in Big Four audit.
• Experience with real estate funds or real estate private equity structures.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and audit experience.
• Able to communicate insights to senior finance and investment professionals.

Responsibilities

• Financial control and oversight of Luxembourg-domiciled real estate funds and SPVs.
• Review fund accounting, NAVs, reporting packs and reconciliations by third parties.
• Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements.
• Manage the annual audit process.
• Review capital calls, investor distributions and fund-level allocations.
• Monitor cash, liquidity and cash-flow forecasts.
• Support valuation processes and fund performance reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial insight to stakeholders.
• Support investor reporting and ad hoc requests.
