Job summary

Wade Macdonald represents a £15m SME division of a global group seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller. The role is fully remote within the UK, with occasional on-site meetings.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with audit and financial control experience, IFRS knowledge, and proficiency in NetSuite, BPC and Salesforce. You will oversee month-end close, compliance, audits, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Audit and financial control experience.
• IFRS knowledge; IFRS 15/16 advantageous.
• Experience with multiple entities (MultiEntities).
• Proficiency in NetSuite, BPC and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax, VAT, and statutory reporting.
• Manage cash flow, payroll, and month-end accounts.
• Lead audits, internal controls and IFRS compliance.
• Forecasting, variance analysis and strategic planning.
• Support parent company reporting, including quarterly and annual reviews.

Finance Manager / Controller SME - Fully Remote

Our client is a £15m division of a global group seeking an entry level Financial Controller. Ideal for a Finance Manager looking to step up into an FC role. Would suite straight from practice as well as industry trained.

It is essential you are afully qualified accountantand preferably have experience working within the telecommunications sector. IFRS 15 / 16 would be hugely beneficial. The role can be based anywhere in theUK but you must be working and living in the UK as occasional on-site meetings will be required

TheFinancial Controllerrole offers remote management and will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations.

About the Role

AsFinancial Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing financial management, corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. You’ll lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance, while also managing audits, financial reporting, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and Revenue Recognition

• Lead financial audits, internal controls, and IFRS compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA)with experience in audit and financial control
• Strong technical knowledge ofIFRS reporting, financial processes, and internal controls
• Previous experience and understanding of accounting for MultiEntities
• Proficiency in financial systems such asNetSuite, BPC, and Salesforce
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability towork under pressure and meet tight deadlines
