Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a Quality & Risk professional to join a client team in Norway. The role focuses on early/pre-execution phase projects within oil and gas, renewables and infrastructure, with audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement driving the work.

Based in Oslo or Stavanger, you will coordinate quality activities, support deviation and change management, and collaborate across partners and contractors to meet stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• University-level quality and/or risk management qualification.
• Experience from oil and gas projects, ideally in operator environments.
• Minimum 5 years in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality and risk management expertise to project teams.
• Coordinate planning and execution of quality and risk activities across projects.
• Perform internal audits and self-assessments.
• Support criticality assessments of project deliverables.
• Facilitate lessons learned and continual improvement initiatives.
• Lead or support deviation, non-conformities and Management of Change processes.
• Follow up on audit findings related to projects.
• Foster a one-team approach with alliance partners and contractors.

Assignment Description

One of our clients is looking for a Quality & Risk professional to join the team. They have a wide portfolio of projects in all phases of project lifecycle. This position will have a focus on our early phase / pre-execution phase projects.

Responsibilitiesand deliverables include:

• Providing quality and risk management expertise and support to our project teams
• Proactively co-ordinating and driving the planning and execution of quality and risk management activities in the project.
• Performing quality activities such as internal audits and self-assessments.
• Supporting criticality assessments of project deliverables
• Facilitating lessons learned and continual improvement activities.
• Leading or supporting deviation and non-conformities processes and Management of Change activities.
• Following-up of audit findings related to projects
• Fostering a one team approach with Alliance partners and Contractors to deliver to the required quality standards.

Qualifications

• University level Quality and or Risk Management qualification.
• Experience from oil and gas projects ideally within operator project organizations.
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles
