Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is a leading provider of project personnel for oil & gas, renewable energy, and infrastructure in Norway and internationally. We seek a supply chain professional with 3+ years’ experience to manage POs, supplier screening, and contract cost-saving initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineering and procurement teams, ensure timely deliveries, and uphold compliance with internal guidelines while expanding your professional network through diverse projects and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• You are commercially aware and capable of working independently as part of a team.
• Strong written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
• Prepare inquiry documents with engineering for equipment/services.
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations.
• Monitor delivery within agreed timeframe, cost and quality.
• Handle risks, deviations and invoice processing.
• Ensure activities comply with guidelines and procedures.
• Continuously improve to reduce risks/costs and strengthen collaboration.

Assignment Description

Issue and follow-up on purchase orders withstrong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation

Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions

Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering

Perform commercial evaluations of quotations

Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality

Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing

Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures

Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree
Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar

Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas

You are commercially aware

You are professional and an independent team player

You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English

You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes

You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills

You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines

Experience with SAP is an advantage

A high degree of data discipline is preferred
