Job summary

Aquabyte in Bergen is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate to join our mission-driven team. You will review data from customers, maintain data quality, and help ensure our fish-farming customers succeed with cutting-edge tech.

This role offers collaboration across product and engineering, fieldwork expectations, and opportunities to shape a growing company that uses underwater cameras, computer vision, and ML to optimize farming practices.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of fish biology and fish welfare.
• Comfortable performing methodical and repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Basic technical skills and comfortable performing computer-based tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review data from customers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the other teams to identify patterns and edge cases.
• Maintain data quality to improve existing machine vision tools and support new feature development.
• Maintain clear, structured documentation of QA methodologies and identified system improvements.
• Uphold high standards of data quality and accuracy.
• Participation in sampling activities and fieldwork is expected.
