Job summary

Dovre Solutions is inviting applications for a supply chain role in Stavanger. The position focuses on procurement, market screening, and supplier management for oil & gas projects, with an emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.

The candidate will coordinate with engineering to prepare inquiries, evaluate quotations, and ensure on-time delivery within budget and quality standards. Fluency in Norwegian and English is required; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• Fluent Norwegian and English, strong communication skills.
• Commercially aware and independent team player.
• Structured, efficient work style with guideline compliance.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Data discipline with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with focus on cost reduction.
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers.
• Prepare inquiry documents with engineering for equipment/services.
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations.
• Monitor delivery within time, cost and quality targets.
• Manage variation handling and invoice processing.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvements to reduce risks and costs.

Function

• Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation
• Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions
• Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering
• Perform commercial evaluations of quotations
• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality
• Manage variation handling
• Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing
• Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration

Requirements

Required Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar

Required Work Experience

• Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas

Required Qualifications

• You are commercially aware
• You are professional and an independent team player
• You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English
• You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes
• You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills
• You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines
