Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Purchaser in Stavanger to drive procurement activities across oil and gas projects. You will issue and follow up POs, conduct market screening, and prepare inquiries in collaboration with engineering.

The role emphasizes cost reduction, value creation, and on-time, on-budget delivery. Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in oil & gas supply chain, strong bilingual communication in Norwegian and English, and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas.
• Commercially aware.
• Professional and an independent team player.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changes.
• Collaborates well with others.
• Structured and efficient, follows guidelines.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• High data discipline preferred.

• Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed time-frame, cost, and quality

• Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures
• Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration
