Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer for offshore projects in Bergen. The role involves conducting studies, engineering design tasks, and offshore site surveys, with emphasis on maintaining and modifying mechanical equipment.

Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is essential. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and at least five years in oil and gas, with familiarity to Norwegian standards and Equinor requirements being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with maintenance and modification projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with Equinor’s requirements is beneficial.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards (NORSOK, ISO).
• Fluency in Norwegian and English is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multidisciplinary understanding and strong collaboration skills.

Function

• Conducting studies and performing engineering design tasks.

Requirements
