Job summary

DataX Connect, a leading data centre specialist, seeks an experienced Project Planner to support a major data centre delivery on a remote site in Norway. The role is client-side with flexible rotation and a strong package.

You will develop, maintain and monitor project programmes, review contractor schedules, manage risks and report to senior stakeholders, working with contractors, consultants and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Planner / Project Planner on major construction projects.
• Data Centre or Mission Critical experience highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction planning and programme controls.
• Experience reviewing contractor programmes and managing programme performance.
• Ideally, experience across MEP construction and commissioning.
• Strong Primavera P6 or similar planning software experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and programme management of a major Data Centre project from construction through to commissioning.
• Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes.
• Review and manage contractor programmes, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Monitor progress against baseline programmes and identify delays, risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Provide programme analysis, reporting and updates to senior project stakeholders.
• Support the development of recovery programmes and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to planning activities across the wider regional project portfolio.

Norway | Remote Project | Flexible Rotation | Excellent Package

I’m currently working with a leading Mission Critical / Data Centre specialist who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of a major Data Centre project in a remote location in Norway.

This is a client-side position with a regional remit, offering excellent flexibility around rotation and a very competitive overall package. The role would suit an experienced Planner who wants to work on a major project while having genuine flexibility around their working pattern.

The Role

• Support the planning and programme management of a major Data Centre project from construction through to commissioning
• Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes
• Review and manage contractor programmes, ensuring alignment with project objectives
• Monitor progress against baseline programmes and identify delays, risks and opportunities
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and internal project teams
• Provide programme analysis, reporting and updates to senior project stakeholders
• Support the development of recovery programmes and mitigation strategies

About You

We're looking for someone with:
