Job summary

CTS Group is seeking a Senior Planner for its Fyresdal, Norway data centre projects. The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive project programmes, coordinating with management, engineering and construction teams, and driving on-schedule delivery while managing risks.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree, 5–10 years in planning for large-scale facilities, and is proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–10 years' experience in project planning within construction, industrial or mission-critical environments.
• Experience on large-scale Data Centre projects is advantageous.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English; willingness to work on site in Fyresdal, Norway.

Senior Planner (Data Centres)

CTS Group is currently recruiting experienced Senior Planners to join our growing team delivering large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects in Fyresdal, Norway. The Role

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will play a key role in developing, managing and maintaining project programmes throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against key milestones and client expectations.

This is a site-based role where you will work closely with project management, commercial, engineering and construction teams to monitor progress, identify programme risks, support resource planning and provide accurate reporting that drives informed decision-making across the project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in project planning within construction, industrial or mission-critical environments
• Previous experience on large-scale Data Centre projects would be a distinct advantage
• Strong knowledge of project planning methodologies, construction sequencing and critical path analysis
• Experience developing, monitoring and updating detailed project programmes throughout all phases of delivery
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience producing progress reports, programme updates and schedule recovery plans
• Strong understanding of resource planning, earned value principles and project controls
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and client representatives
• Fluent English essential
