Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is currently partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist to appoint two experienced Project Schedulers / Planners for major projects across Finland and Norway. The roles require skilled planners to deliver complex construction programmes on time and to budget.

You will develop and maintain schedules, monitor progress, identify risks, and collaborate with project managers, site teams and subcontractors to ensure milestones are achieved.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a project scheduler/planner in large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and programme management.
• Experience with data centres or mission-critical facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes.
• Managing project schedules throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Identifying potential delays, risks and programme impacts.
• Reviewing and coordinating subcontractor programmes.

V7 Recruitment are currently working with a leading European data centre delivery specialist who are looking to appoint two experienced Project Schedulers / Planners to support major new projects across Finland and Norway.

We have two positions available:

• Hamina, Finland
• Skien, Norway

These are excellent opportunities for experienced Planners looking to work on large-scale, technically complex construction projects within the rapidly expanding data centre sector.

The Role

As Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and managing project programmes, monitoring progress and working closely with the wider project team to ensure key milestones are achieved.

• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes.
• Managing project schedules throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Monitoring progress against programme milestones.
• Identifying potential delays, risks and programme impacts.
• Working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing and coordinating subcontractor programmes.
• Supporting short-, medium- and long-term planning.
• Analysing critical paths and programme performance.
• Producing regular progress reports and schedule updates.
• Supporting programme recovery and mitigation strategies where required.
• Ensuring planning information is accurate, current and aligned with project objectives.

About You

We're looking for experienced construction Planners/Schedulers with:

• Strong Primavera P6 experience.
• Previous experience planning complex construction projects.
• Experience working on projects such as data centres, mission-critical facilities, major hotels, airports or similarly complex developments.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Candidates must already be based in the relevant country – Finland or Norway.
