Job summary

Omega Subsea is seeking a technically experienced Survey Asset Coordinator to manage survey equipment across our facilities and projects in Bergen, Norway. You will work closely with offshore survey and ROV teams, project teams, suppliers and rental companies to ensure equipment is available, traceable, calibrated and ready for use.

The role emphasizes developing efficient survey asset management processes, maintaining equipment records, and supporting planning and allocation to meet project

Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical survey role or equipment rental environment.
  • Experience with survey asset management is advantageous.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for Survey and Project teams regarding equipment rental and sales.
  • Maintain an accurate overview of survey assets across facilities and projects.
  • Coordinate equipment movements to and from projects, ensuring availability and traceability.
  • Support planning and allocation of equipment according to project requirements.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, documented and ready for operation.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records and relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with offshore personnel, project teams, suppliers and rental companies.
  • Contribute to developing and improving procedures for survey asset management.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge across a broad range of survey equipment.

Job description

Omega Subsea is continuing to grow its survey operations, creating a need for stronger coordination and control of our expanding range of survey equipment.

We are therefore looking for a technically experienced and structured Survey Asset Coordinator to manage survey equipment across our facilities and projects.

Working closely with offshore Survey and ROV teams, project teams, suppliers and rental companies, you will ensure equipment is available, traceable, calibrated and ready for use while helping develop efficient processes for survey asset management.

Key responsibilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for Survey and Project teams regarding survey equipment rental and sales.
  • Maintain an accurate overview of survey assets across facilities and projects.
  • Coordinate equipment movements to and from projects, ensuring availability and traceability.
  • Support planning and allocation of equipment according to project requirements.
  • Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated, documented and ready for operation.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records and relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with offshore personnel, project teams, suppliers and rental companies.
  • Contribute to developing and improving procedures for survey asset management.

Qualifications
  • Experience from a technical survey role, survey equipment rental company or similar environment is preferred.
  • Experience with survey asset management is an advantage.
  • BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering, Surveying or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant industry experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Strong technical understanding of survey instrumentation and equipment.
  • Comfortable using digital systems for equipment tracking, documentation and coordination.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
  • Structured and detail-oriented with strong technical understanding.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across offshore and onshore teams.
