Job summary

Omega Subsea As is seeking a structured Tender Manager to lead tender processes from enquiry to submission. You will coordinate input from management, project teams, customers and partners to ensure high-quality, compliant and commercially sound proposals are delivered on time.

Experience from the subsea industry, proficiency in tendering, contracts and commercial coordination, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a hybrid work environment are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in subsea industry (ROV/survey/offshore)
  • Proven experience with tendering, proposals, contracts or project management
  • Higher education in business, engineering, PM or marine/offshore studies preferred
  • Experience with CRM or tender systems is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Manage tender processes from enquiry through submission.
  • Review tender requirements and assign responsibilities, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Coordinate input from technical, operational and commercial teams.
  • Ensure proposals are complete, compliant and commercially sound.
  • Handle customer clarifications and follow-ups and support bid/no-bid decisions.

Omega Subsea is growing within subsea, ROV, survey and offshore marine operations, with an increasing number of larger and more complex opportunities.

We are therefore looking for a structured and commercially minded Tender Manager to manage tender processes from enquiry through submission.

Working closely with management, project teams, customers and partners, you will coordinate technical, operational and commercial input to ensure high-quality, compliant and commercially sound proposals are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate tender processes from enquiry through submission.
  • Review tender requirements and establish clear responsibilities, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Coordinate technical, operational and commercial input across the organisation.
  • Ensure proposals are complete, compliant and commercially sound.
  • Manage customer clarifications and follow up internal actions.
  • Support tender strategy, bid/no-bid evaluations and commercial recommendations.
  • Identify and communicate commercial, contractual and operational risks.
  • Coordinate input from suppliers, partners and subcontractors when required.
  • Maintain accurate and structured tender documentation.
  • Contribute to improving and standardizing tender processes, templates and ways of working.
  • Support effective handover of successful tenders to project teams.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience from the subsea industry is required, preferably within ROV, survey or offshore marine operations.
  • Experience with tendering, proposals, contracts, commercial coordination or project management is highly relevant.
  • Relevant higher education within business, engineering, project management, marine/offshore studies or similar is preferred.
  • Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
  • Good understanding of technical and commercial tender documentation.
  • Experience with CRM, document management or tender systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.
  • Structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage several activities and deadlines in parallel.
  • Commercially minded with a practical and solution-oriented approach.
  • Proactive, dependable and comfortable taking ownership.
  • Clear and confident communicator who follows up stakeholders effectively.
  • Resilient and able to maintain quality under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across technical, operational and commercial teams.
  • Curious and motivated to learn and develop within a growing organisation.
