Project Completion Engineer - Loop Tester

Job summary

IKM seeks a commissioning technician to support loop testing activities in Stord, with offshore work required. The project runs on a 15/20 rotation with possible night shifts, from 11.10.2026 to 31.03.2027, with offshore extension possible.

You will verify instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field devices to the control system and ensure all systems are fully verified and ready for handover and start-up, while promoting safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade certificate in electrical, automation, or telecom.
• A valid electrical safety (FSE) course, including first aid certification.
• Completion of basic ATEX and ATEX maintenance courses.
• Demonstrable commissioning experience from similar large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with Project Information Management Systems (PIMS).
• Ability to work in a structured and accurate manner with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Proven capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a high-paced environment.
