Job summary

Omega AS is seeking a qualified professional to support loop testing during mechanical completion and commissioning at the Stord site, with offshore extension possible. The role covers instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field devices to the control system, ensuring readiness for handover and start-up.

Package includes rotation 15/20, offshore extension possibilities, and collaboration with top Norwegian consultants.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade certificate in electrical, automation or telecom.
• Valid electrical safety (FSE) course with first aid.
• Basic ATEX and ATEX maintenance courses.
• Commissioning experience from similar projects.
• Familiar with PIMS.
• Good Norwegian and/or English, spoken and written.
• Service-minded and solution-oriented.
• Structured, accurate work with strong safety and quality focus.
• Able to work independently and in a team at a high pace.
• Flexible about rotation and offshore extension.

Responsibilities

• Assist task owner to plan, prepare and perform loop testing during mechanical completion and commissioning.
• Cover instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field device to control system.
• Help ensure systems are verified and ready for handover and start-up.
• Collaborate with Omega 365 team members and project managers.
