Job summary

Dovre Solutions AS is seeking a skilled commissioning tester to support loop testing during mechanical completion and commissioning projects onshore and offshore. The role focuses on planning, preparing and executing instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field devices to the control system.

You will work closely with the task owner, promote safety and quality, and may extend for offshore commissioning.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in electrical, automation or telecom.
• Valid electrical safety (FSE) course with first aid.
• Basic ATEX and ATEX maintenance courses.
• Commissioning experience from similar projects.
• Familiar with PIMS.
• Good Norwegian and/or English, spoken and written.
• Service-minded and solution-oriented.
• Works in a structured and accurate way, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Can work independently and in a team at a high pace.
• Flexible about rotation and available for offshore extension.

Responsibilities

Location: : Stord, with a possible extension offshore – 15/20 rotation, possible night shift
Duration: 11.10.2026 – 31.03.2027, with an option to extend for offshore commissioning

Function

• Purpose of the position Support the task owner in planning, preparing and carrying out loop testing.

General description of the role

• The role helps the task owner plan, prepare and carry out loop testing during the project’s mechanical completion and commissioning phase. Loop testing covers instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field device to control system, so systems are verified and ready for handover and start-up.
• The role is a key part of a successful project delivery and promotes sharing of knowledge and information.
• The assignment ends 31.03.2027, and it may be extended for offshore commissioning work.
