Job summary

In Head Energy is seeking a Project Completion Engineer-Loop Tester to plan, prepare and execute loop testing during mechanical completion and commissioning activities.

You will verify instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field devices to the control system to ensure readiness for handover and start-up, while promoting knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Requires commissioning experience on similar projects and ability to plan, prepare and carry out loop testing.
• Ability to communicate in Norwegian and/or English, both written and spoken.
• Relevant trade certificate in electrical, automation or telecom is required.
• Electrical safety (FSE) course with first aid is required.
• Basic ATEX and ATEX maintenance courses are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and execute loop testing during the project's mechanical completion and commissioning phase.
• Test instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field device to control system to verify systems for handover and start-up.
• Promote knowledge sharing and information flow within the project team.

Job Description:

• The role helps the task owner plan, prepare and carry out loop testing during the project's mechanical completion and commissioning phase.
• Loop testing covers instrument, electrical and telecom loops from field device to control system, so systems are verified and ready for handover and start-up.
• The role is a key part of a successful project delivery and promotes sharing of knowledge and information.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade certificate (electrical, automation or telecom)
• Valid electrical safety (FSE) course with first aid
• Basic ATEX and ATEX maintenance courses
• Commissioning experience from similar projects
• Familiar with PIMS
• Good Norwegian and/or English, spoken and written

• Works in a structured and accurate way, with a strong focus on safety and quality
• Can work independently and in a team at a high pace
• Flexible about rotation and available for a possible offshore extension
