Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical education or engineering degree with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in oil & gas or related field, preferably construction/commissioning.
• Strong ability to read P&IDs, ISO drawings and other technical docs.

Job description

-Develop and maintain detailed work orders, including man-hour estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists.
-Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met.
-Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements.
-Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

Required expertise

-Electro, Instrument, Telecom
-Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry or a related field, preferably within construction or commissioning.
-Familiarity with mechanical completion (MC) and commissioning processes, along with digital tools (e.g., PIMS).
-Strong understanding of technical drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Stord, with offshore work required
Work schedule: Full-time, regular work week with some remote work options
