Job summary

Head Energy is seeking a skilled Project Completion Engineer to develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, collaborating with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure prerequisites are met and quality standards are applied.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in oil & gas or related industries, with strong knowledge of P&IDs, ISO drawings, and HSSE compliance. Some remote work may be possible within a regular work week.

Qualifications

• Technical education (vocational or engineering) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in the oil & gas or related industry.
• Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools (PIMS CMS/PES).
• Strong understanding of drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Fluent in Norwegian with a good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Position may be based on a regular work week with some possibilities for remote work when practical.

• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

• Work Order Preparation: Based on information provided in engineering work packs (EWP), the Work Prep Engineer shall develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including, but not limited to, man-hour (MHR) estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists (MTO).
• Interface Management: Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to job execution.
• Quality & HSSE Compliance: Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project implementation models.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned
