Job summary

The Norwegian Refugee Council in Oslo is hiring a Private Sector Partnerships Adviser (Business Operations) to strengthen the private sector function with systems, data and processes for effective partnerships. You will serve as the operational backbone, ensuring governance, compliance and reporting across the portfolio.

The role focuses on turning data into insight, supporting fundraising strategies and CRM implementation using Cycles CRM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years highly professional experience within business development, private sector marketing/sales, social impact or other relevant professional qualifications.
• Experience in strategic relationship building, private partnerships, and networking.
• Experience in implementing private fundraising and market strategies.
• Ability to manage numerous tasks, schedules and documents simultaneously.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Ability to bridge private sector and philanthropic/humanitarian sectors with clear communication.
• Experience with stakeholders across public, private and non-profit sectors; interest in humanitarian issues is advantageous.
• Experience in project planning and management.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, plus data analysis/visualisation tools.
• Experience with CRM-systems is preferred.
• Analytical skills.
• Business proficiency in English; Norwegian is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide data and analysis related to private sector income, projects and partners to the section and leadership.
• Support the Director with fundraising strategy implementation.
• Develop, review and implement guidelines, tools, systems and procedures for NRC private sector partnerships.
• Provide training across the organisation to ensure compliance on private sector partnerships.
• Contribute to due diligence and GDPR compliance.
• Manage special projects for the private sector function.
• Represent the PSP section in Cycles CRM implementation and reporting across the organisation.
• Present income data visuals to internal stakeholders and provide data for external surveys.
• Ensure private sector work and communications comply with rules and regulations including GDPR.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across public, private and non-profit sectors.
