Job summary

TMC Transportation is seeking a Pricing Analyst to manage and optimize pricing for asset-based freight services. You will determine spot market quotes, review RFP submissions, and perform rate analytics to support competitive profitability.

You will collaborate across Sales, Operations, and Finance to enhance pricing structures for flatbed operations. The role emphasizes data-driven pricing, reporting, and continuous improvement with Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of asset-based pricing experience in transportation.
Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage spot market pricing quotes based on market conditions and cost data.
Review and organize RFP submissions and ensure timely bid documentation.
Develop regular pricing reports and dashboards to monitor rate changes and revenue.
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to align pricing with company goals.
Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes and tools.
