The Emerald Group is seeking a pricing actuary to drive sustainable growth through advanced pricing tools and robust models. The role partners with stakeholders across pricing, platform and propositions to support decisions and ensure consistency with reporting assumptions.

With a strong actuarial background, the candidate will apply AI and automation to streamline processes, design trigger-based reviews and contribute to continuous pricing framework improvements.

Qualifications

• Actuary with expertise in pricing frameworks and modelling.
• Experience guiding pricing decisions with strong stakeholder influence.
• Knowledge of pricing tools, models and methodologies for growth.

Responsabilités

• Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and identify pricing tool opportunities.
• Act as SME to commercial pricing and platform teams supporting pricing decisions.
• Set pricing assumptions consistently with reporting and justify with expert insight.
• Design and implement robust pricing models and trigger-based reviews.
• Support pricing framework implementation and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate strong MA (Matching Adjustment) portfolio knowledge.
• Apply actuarial techniques, particularly in annuity pricing and investment management.
• Problem-solve with strong analytical and coding-based solution design.
• Avoid complexity by leveraging AI and automation to deliver output quickly.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication; influence stakeholders effectively.
