Job summary

The University of Bergen invites applications for a two-year, full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Clinical Dentistry, tied to the TuniScaff project. The position focuses on validating 3D-bioprinted scaffolds for bone regeneration and functionalizing with interdisciplinary materials.

Applicants must hold a Norwegian PhD or equivalent; experience in 3D printing, bioprinting, stem cell culture, and CAD/programming is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Norwegian PhD or equivalent in regenerative medicine and dentistry, or submitted before deadline.
• Experience with 3D printing/bioprinting and stem cell culture highly preferred.
• Strong programming, material characterization, and CAD skills.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and validate 3D-bioprinted polymer scaffolds for bone regeneration.
• Develop and characterize biodegradable nanocellulose components for tissue constructs.
• Assess in vitro safety and regenerative potential, plus in vivo efficacy.
