Job summary

UtilityCloud is seeking a Platform Engineer to own and improve how the platform is built, deployed and operated. You will work with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, and AI infrastructure in Azure to streamline deployments for developers.

Qualifications

• Production Kubernetes experience and ability to debug deployments
• Strong Azure AKS, networking and identity knowledge
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform (Terragrunt an advantage) and Helm
• Experience building/operating CI/CD at scale (Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions)
• Experience deploying and scaling PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Fluent in English; autonomous, practical collaborator

Responsibilities

• Modernize Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
• Provide developers with a documented path from merge to production
• Own and extend Terraform/Terragrunt estate and AKS clusters
• Onboard customers with minimal infra changes and scalable configurations
• Deploy and manage AI infrastructure components on Azure Foundry and Postgres pgvector
• Improve observability, backup, restore and disaster-recovery processes
• Document architectures to facilitate future maintenance
