Qualifications

• Available to work variable and rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrates effective communication with patients, families and team members.
• Provides courteous, responsive patient care and support in a busy hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with feeding, drinking, ambulation, grooming, toileting and dressing.
• Educates patients and families as delegated by the care team.
• Collects, reports and documents data related to direct patient care activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe patient care environment and supports clinical staff.
• Handles stocking and clerical duties as needed to support unit operations.
• Communicates with hospital staff, physicians, patients and visitors.
