Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment in Oslo, Norway, seeks a Part-Time Executive Chef to lead our kitchen and craft exceptional, locally sourced menus. You will manage operations, oversee inventory, and mentor staff to uphold top quality in a high-end setting.

The role requires at least 5 years as an Executive Chef, strong leadership, and fluent English with Norwegian skills preferred. Weekend and evening availability is essential, with a competitive monthly salary and provided accommodation and visa

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
Ability to create unique and innovative dishes while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language skills preferred).
Ability to work on weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities

Develop menus that showcase the best of local and seasonal ingredients
Lead and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality food production
Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining appropriate stock levels
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
Train and mentor junior chefs to help them develop their skills
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide exceptional guest experiences
