Job summary

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of related design experience.
• Deep apparel expertise in technical product design.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, processes, and technology.
• Strong eye for product aesthetics and quality.
• Understanding of global outdoor apparel trends and consumer needs.

Responsibilities

• Product design: create and develop outdoor apparel focusing on user experience, quality, and design vision from concept to production.
• Innovation: generate creative solutions to improve product functionality including material selection and sustainable practices.
• Research & Trends: stay updated on trends, competitor landscape, consumer needs, and material science advancements.
• Prototyping & Testing: sketch and work with development teams to refine designs.
• Collaboration: partner with product management, development, marketing, and sourcing.
• Sustainability: integrate sustainable materials and processes into designs to meet ESG goals.
• User Feedback: incorporate input from professionals and outdoor enthusiasts to improve gear.
• Technical Specs: develop detailed design specifications and drawings for manufacturing.
• Other duties as required by Design Manager.
• Travel to key markets, trade shows, vendors.
