Job summary

Thor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support a major data center project based in Oslo, Norway. The role combines office planning with on-site supervision to ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.

You will work closely with project leadership, engineering teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to oversee day-to-day construction operations and ensure effective coordination across all project disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
• Data center construction experience is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, planning, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities ensuring work aligns with plans and schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site teams.
• Monitor progress against programme, identifying delays, risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations.
• Resolve technical queries and design changes with engineering/design teams.
• Lead site and coordination meetings and ensure actions are completed.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, resources, and productivity.
• Review construction documentation, risk assessments, and quality records.
