Job summary

The Maintenance Support Engineer role at SAS - Scandinavian Airlines sits within the MSO team, acting as the technical link between CAMO and P145 for MEL, DDs, workorders and tasks. Based at SAS Technical Base at Oslo Gardermoen, you’ll provide technical advisory, support for C-Release and planning accuracy, and ensure compliance across SAS P145 stations.

Qualifications

• AML B1 and/or B2 license on at least one SAS fleet aircraft type.
• 5-8 years of professional experience as Aircraft Engineer/Technician/Mechanic.
• Solid understanding of Maintenance Production.
• Solid knowledge of EASA Part-M and Part-145.
• Extensive knowledge of AMOS.
• LEAN knowledge.
• Knowledge of Quality, Compliance and Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality Check and Approval of MEL.
• Quality Check and Approval of DD (Deferred Defects).
• Coordinate with CAMOs for approvals of Workorders and tasks.
• Support and participate in assessment of modifications and similar.
• Technical support for Maintenance Production.
• Support to Production Planning.
• Update in AMOS as required.
• Administrate common mailboxes as required.
• Perform Data uploads and downloads as necessary (e.g. WEFA Cards).
• NFF Analyze as required.
• PDL.
• RFID support.
• Water Sample support.
• SB / Modification support.
• C-Release of Maintenance, if applicable.
• ATA 25 support.
• SRM support (e.g.: assisting in assessment of Lightning Strike/Bird Strike/Ground Damages).
