Job summary

CHC Helicopter Service AS in Stavanger/Sola, Norway, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Part-145 organisation and drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across Norwegian bases. You will manage a skilled maintenance team, oversee maintenance planning, and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure aircraft readiness and availability.

The role requires strong leadership, deep aviation maintenance knowledge, and fluency in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain approval from the NCAA as an EASA Part-145 Postholder.
• Strong leadership and people management experience within an aviation maintenance environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English and ability to build relationships across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance workforce across Norwegian bases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of the EASA Part-145 Postholder.
• Promote a strong safety culture across maintenance operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient execution of aircraft maintenance activities.
• Deliver operational readiness by maintaining aircraft availability.
• Coach and develop staff to maximise performance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance is completed safely, efficiently, on time.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to secure parts and tools.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.
• Monitor KPIs and manage labour costs within budgets.
