Job summary

Harrison Scott Associates is seeking an ambitious Operations Manager in London to support and coordinate daily operations, progressively taking on greater commercial responsibilities with a clear route toward General Manager and leadership.

You will work across operations, export sales, customer management and business development, with international travel and close collaboration with the owner and senior team.

Qualifications

• Prior management or commercial/operational experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and opportunity development.
• Experience with customers, distributors or B2B stakeholders.
• Export sales or international customers experience is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations with existing personnel.
• Develop understanding of products, customers and operations.
• Support UK and international customers, distributors and agents.
• Drive export sales and international business development.
• Work with sales to develop new markets and opportunities.
• Attend meetings, exhibitions and events in the UK and internationally.
• Coordinate customer requirements with technical and production teams.
• Lead and support colleagues to meet delivery and commercial targets.
• Assist with forecasting, pricing and commercial planning.
• Improve operational processes as responsibilities grow.
• Foster cross-functional relationships and succession planning.
