Job summary

Finago is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Scandinavia SaaS operations, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability across multiple services. You will partner with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and regional leaders to optimize incident management, vendor relationships and service delivery.

The role emphasizes people leadership, operational strategy and cross‑functional collaboration to drive growth, cost efficiency and customer value in a Nordic context.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience in SaaS operations and IT services, with expertise in hosting platforms and cloud environments like AWS/Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience in people leadership, preferably leading a team of five or more.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and cloud-based service delivery.
  • Proven experience managing KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, operational performance and customer outcomes.
  • Track record of leading operational transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic input into Global SaaS Operations and ensure ongoing operational excellence.
  • Lead and manage Platform Engineering / Operations team (7 specialists).
  • Partner with R&D to support service development and deployment.
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational processes and service standards.
  • Drive KPI management and performance reviews; coordinate major programs.

(Senior) Manager, Platform & SaaS Operations - Scandinavia

As our Operations Manager for Scandinavia, you’ll play a key role in leading the delivery and operational excellence of Finago's SaaS services in the Norwegian/Swedish market. The role ensures high service availability, operational efficiency, and alignment with our Global SaaS Operational Objectives.

This leader works closely with Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and regional leadership teams to optimize service delivery, incident management, vendor management, and other operational processes. The role combines people leadership, operational management, and strategic planning to drive sustainable growth and customer value.

Operational Leadership
  • Drive strategic input into Global SaaS Operations, ensuring the evolution of operational excellence and quality management practices across a global service organization.
  • Lead and manage a talented Platform Engineering / Operations team consisting of 7 specialist.
  • Partner with R&D to support the successful development and deployment of services.
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational processes and service standards.
  • Drive operational excellence through KPI management and performance reviews.
  • Coordinate selected major programs and initiatives that require a balance of technical expertise and people-focused leadership to achieve successful outcomes.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Implement operational frameworks that improve scalability and reduce costs.
  • Support AI and automation initiatives within operational workflows.
  • Lead, coach, and develop operations & cloud specialists.
  • Foster a customer‑centric and performance‑driven culture.
  • Conduct workforce planning and talent development activities.
  • Drive employee engagement and team effectiveness.
Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit and compliance activities such as ISO27001
  • Maintain operational readiness for business continuity and incident response.
  • Develop scalable operating models to support business growth.

Position: Permanent, full‑time

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager who is ready to make an impact on our SaaS operations and service delivery across Scandinavia. To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in SaaS operations and IT services, with extensive expertise in managing a wide range of hosting platforms, including dedicated hosting providers and cloud environments such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • At least 3 years of experience in people leadership, preferably with experience leading a team of five or more.
  • A strong understanding of SaaS business models and cloud‑based service delivery.
  • Proven experience managing KPIs, SLAs, OLAs, operational performance, and customer outcomes.
  • A proven track record of leading operational transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
