Job summary

Finago in Oslo is seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape Finago Office, collaborating with Product Managers, Developers and Designers to create intuitive, accessible interfaces for Nordic accounting professionals.

You will work across research, prototyping and polished UI, using our Design System, with Figma, Storybook and related tools, and contribute to a scalable product used by thousands of customers; English and Norwegian fluency expected; permanent, full-time role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English and Norwegian.
  • Around 2–4 years of experience in UX/UI or digital product design.
  • Experience designing digital products, preferably B2B SaaS or responsive web applications.
  • A portfolio demonstrating both your design process and final outcomes.
  • Experience with Figma and familiarity with tools such as Storybook, Maze, Miro, or similar.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
  • Experience or interest in conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Experience working in agile product teams and closely with developers.
  • Experience working with Design Systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

To support this journey, we’re now looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team in Oslo.

As our UX/UI Designer, you will play an important role in shaping the user experience of Finago Office, one of our core products. Working closely with Product Managers, Developers, and fellow Designers, you will help create intuitive and valuable user experiences that meet the needs of Nordic accounting professionals.

You will contribute throughout the design process—from research and discovery to prototyping and polished user interfaces—and help ensure that our products are consistent, accessible, and easy to use.

Your key tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Interface Design: Create intuitive, accessible, and visually coherent user interfaces using our Design System, while contributing to its continuous improvement.
  • Prototyping: Build and refine prototypes in Figma and code to explore ideas, validate concepts, and communicate design solutions with stakeholders and development teams.
  • User Research & Discovery: Participate in user research activities, collaborate with users and internal experts, and translate insights into meaningful design improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers across the Nordics to deliver user-centered solutions and continuously improve our products.

We're looking for a UX/UI Designer who is passionate about creating great user experiences. To succeed in this position, you bring:

  • Fluency in English and Norwegian.
