Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to support the Proton Therapy Center at Helse Bergen. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and regulatory-compliant preventative tasks in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a relevant engineering field.
• Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
• Strong mechanical and electronic/electromechanical understanding is essential.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on maintenance on proton therapy equipment and related systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain full functionality during clinical hours.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks and support compliance with regulations.
• Work with hardware, software, PCs, networks and wireless systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
