Job summary

NSC Global seeks a Level 1 Field Service Technician to deliver on-site technical support for customer systems in Bodø, Norway. You will perform on-site diagnostics, hardware repair and component replacement while adhering to service levels and procedures.

You will communicate clearly with customers, document troubleshooting steps, and ensure timely updates. A valid driving licence and English proficiency are required; CompTIA A+ is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 technical support or comparable customer facing IT support.
• Solid understanding of PC, laptop hardware and client components.
• English proficient for technical documentation and reporting.
• Ability to follow structured diagnostic processes and document steps.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites within service windows and complete each intervention.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace hardware across desktops and laptops.
• Validate warranty status, asset IDs and diagnostics before repairs.
• Raise service reports and obtain customer sign off after each intervention.
• Escalate incidents and keep customers informed of next steps.
