Job summary

A&O IT Group in Norway is seeking an IT Engineer to deliver on-site Windows desktop support in Kongsberg. You will handle incidents, service requests, and deskside assistance, supporting end users with devices, collaboration tools, and networked peripherals.

The role requires 1–3 years of Windows Desktop experience, familiarity with Active Directory, MS Office 365, and service desk software such as ServiceNow, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet SLA expectations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Windows Desktop support experience.
• Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, and MS Office 365.
• Experience with PC hardware installation/troubleshooting and antivirus solutions.
• Familiarity with helpdesk ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and prioritization abilities, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests and provide near deskside support.
• Support End Users with devices, collaboration and communications services, and end user computing hardware.
• Maintain daily health checks on End User Devices and networked devices.
• Provide meeting room support and adhere to performance standards.
